PBS Television Program The Creative Life with Cheryl Fall, Scouting Corporate Sponsors

Loran Hickton, President & CEO of Salmon Creek Public Relations Inc. Announced today that The Creative Life is being reviewed by several Fortune 500 Companies that are focused on consumer goods and home repair & remodel

When Co-Executive Producers, Phil Bransom and Cheryl Fall got together to develop The Creative Life, they had a sound vision. Their thirty-minute program would feature how-to home projects including repair, décor, remodeling, crafts, sewing, cooking, gardening and more. Since the program is produced locally by Phil Bransom Productions in conjunction with Oregon Public Broadcasting the big challenge was developing local sponsors and creating programming that would provide viewers with great projects that they could enjoy doing themselves.

Oregon regional plumbing contractor Jack Howk Plumbing became the shows primary funding source. The show quickly gained market share and a few weeks ago it received the PBS 'PLUS' designation. PBS PLUS programming includes national programs like This Old House," HomeTime" and Victory Garden". This designation provides the opportunity to be syndicated or distributed to all 344 stations across the country. The challenges also get bigger with the requirement of sponsors who wish to reach the initial 2.5 million viewers.

Coats & Clark is the first to sign with The Creative Life for national distribution, and other national companies are reviewing partnership opportunities as this article is being written. We are searching for companies interested in reaching our demographic audience, primarily women between the ages of 25 and 70," according to Loran Hickton, Associate Producer of The Creative Life. To date we have placed proposals in front of many Fortune 500 companies that provide consumer goods, craft supplies and building materials. We have received positive feedback and there seems to be many interested companies."

The cost to become a title sponsor begins at eighty thousand dollars.
