InventHelp Client Invents Training Aid for Young Bicyclists

An InventHelp client from North Charleston, S.C., has designed an alternative to conventional bicycle training aids.

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) May 5, 2008 -- InventHelp announces that one of its clients, an inventor from North Charleston, S.C., has designed an alternative to conventional bicycle training aids.

ON MY OWN would help to improve the child's confidence in one's ability to ride a bicycle without assistance. The invention was developed to ease the transition between riding a bicycle with training wheels and riding one without training wheels. The inventor also believes that the device could enhance the child's safety when learning how to ride a bicycle. In addition, ON MY OWN would be adaptable for use with any bicycle.

The inventor came up with the idea based on her personal experience. "As a mother, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to watch your child ride a bicycle for the first time," she said. "I didn't think that conventional training aids were sufficient for teaching my child how to ride, which is why I developed this alternative."
