(PRWEB) December 1, 2003 -- Celebrating the strength and unity of the Jewish community throughout greater Hartford, the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford announced that Steven Emerson, an internationally recognized Washington-based author, filmmaker and expert on Middle East terrorism and western counter terrorist policies, will speak at their upcoming Chairmens Invitational event on December 2nd at 5:30 pm at Beth El Temple.

Richard Glassman, Lisa Levy, and Anja Rosenberg are Co-chairs for the Chairmens Invitational. With hundreds of people from the Greater Hartford community in attendance, the Chairmens Invitational traditionally reflects the spirit, values, and overall mission of the Jewish Federations annual campaign, Tikkum Olam, repair of the world, and Tzedakah, righteous giving. Proceeds from the event will enable the Jewish Federations 2004 Annual Campaign to continue to provide the necessary services and programs that assist Jews throughout the Hartford area and overseas.
