"A SOLDIER'S CHRISTMAS", AN INSPIRATIONAL POEM ABOUT OUR SOLDIERS IN THE WAR BY POET AND AUTHOR, ANTOINETTE KOPPERFIELD

A touching poem about our soldiers who will be overseas at Christmas time.

Chandler, Arizona (PRWEB) December 3 2003--

A SOLDIER'S CHRISTMAS

Houses all dressed up for seasons show

With lights upon their roofs with colored glows

The wreaths upon the doors smell of the pines

In windows we see trees and presents bows

A time to make us joyful and renew

Our familys strengths and friendships we do bond

A simple card that says 'I do love you

We send it in the mail to correspond

We think of others needs more at this time

Than other months gone by throughout the year

It makes us want to give our hearts so dear

To others ringing bells as they do chime

Simplicity and faith are all we need

To give back to the world when it is sad

When thinking of the wars across the seas

Our prayers for our soldiers we must add

Remember them when praying on that day

When we awake to presents under trees

They have no visions of our Santas sleigh

For Christmas they just get-upon their knees
