Excellent new customers for ABAS: Acceleration of demand in ERP market

A positive forecast has emerged over the past few weeks. According to analysts an end to the IT recession and a recovery in business activity is once again within reach. Increasing investments in ABAS, the Karlsruhe ERP and eBusiness provider, have not only been made in the past 2 months -- in fact the software provider from Baden can boast an extremely strong and stable business in regard to new customers since the beginning of the year.

(PRWEB) December 4 2003--ABAS (http://www.abas.de) managed to gain 24 new ERP customers altogether in September and October 2003 alone. The ERP provider is also very pleased with the whole years results: ABAS gained 90 new customers up to the month of October in 2003. In comparison, in 2002 they gained 56 new abas users up to October. The number of new installations was about 60% higher. From experience several further abas ERP installations can be added to this for the months of November and December -- both months being strong investment periods.

The number of installed workstations has also noticeably increased: from January to October 2002 ABAS sold 1152 workstations, in 2003 this number rose to 1623.

An increase in international installations

Positive development growth is supported in the German market through intensified overseas business activities. Recently acquired international partnerships yield the first fruits. Until and including October 2003 abas partners made 23 new overseas installations. In the first 10 months of the previous year about 10 abas users were added to this. In 2002 (until October) the overseas business added 14% to the total turnover and this year the overseas share for new installations is already 22%.
