Amherst, NY (PRWEB) December 5, 2003 -- The Rotary Club of Amherst East selected Paul McAfee as its president elect for the 2004 -- 2005 year. Rotary International will celebrate Rotary's 100 years of civic service in the year of McAfees presidency.

The Rotary Club of Amherst East raises money through its events, and it provides support, each year for international and local causes. Just a few of the local organizations the Club supports include a scholarship for a student graduating from Williamsville East High School, the Boys & Girls Club of Amherst, the Amherst Symphony, Vive La Casa in Buffalo, an annual Christmas party for ECMC Hospital, and food and clothing drives.
