CRICKET COMMUNICATIONS CALLS ON FOOD CHAIN FILMS DIRECTOR VANCE MALONE

No words describe the visually-driven :30 wireless service spot with Hispanic marketing firm CINCO.

(PRWEB) December 17 2003--Food Chain Films and director Vance Malone have recently returned from a week of sunshine and smog in the worlds largest metropolis of Mexico City. Spurning the stomach-curdling revenge of Montezuma, the Food Chain crew worked tirelessly with agency CINCO in a whirlwind shoot for Cricket Communications. A quirky, entertaining departure from the expected cellular service marketing ploy, The Listener," demonstrates that, even for mobile phone service, actions actually do speak louder than words.

Springing from the mind of newly-instated CINCO Creative Director Raffa Rodriguez, The Listener" depicts a man walking through town, experiencing a medley of bizarre emotions, cell phone held tightly to his ear. As the man steps into a crowded elevator, the source of his peculiar tics is finally revealed. Gyrating wildly as the elevator doors start to close, the visual switches to a shot of The Listeners friend, replete with facepaint, at a stadium holding a phone to the air, engaging in a synchronous victory dance as they both scream GOOOOOOAAAALLLL!".

This spot really transcends language," comments Vance. We chose to shoot in Mexico City with Hispanic talent because of the immediate commercial target, but the spot is understandable no matter what language you speak."

Clocking in at a mere fifteen days from prepro to national airdate, the entire production relied on the strength of all personnel to meet the clients deadline. Ive worked internationally with Food Chain before and I know when I use them that the jobs going to get done," muses Creative Director Raffa (formerly of Publicis Sanchez & Levitan), They deliver consistent quality every time no matter the situation, time frame, or location."
