Kors Engineering To Present at PowerPlex

Plexus Systems' User's Group Conference Ideal Venue to Demonstrate Business Solutions

Waterford, Mich. (PRWEB) May 19, 2008 -- Kors Engineering, provider of PleXML, a business solution for the manufacturing enterprise, today announced that President Tony Kaczmarek and Plexus Systems Chief Operating Officer Douglas Gregory will deliver a presentation titled, "Best Practices for Machine Integration with Plexus Online", at PowerPlex, the annual Plexus Systems User's Group conference. The conference, held at the J.W. Marriott hotel in Grand Rapids, Mich., takes place from May 19 - 21.

"We are eager to demonstrate the effectiveness of PleXML to the Plexus Online users," said Kors Engineering President Tony Kaczmarek. "We are delighted to partner with Plexus Systems to bring this tremendous business solution to the manufacturing enterprise."

PleXML, is a Java-based, web-centric platform with a published, open application programming interface (API). Using configurable, reusable XML transaction objects, PleXML allows the customers' plant floor machines to communicate with Plexus in real-time. Data points collected from the machines by an optical proximity correction (OPC) server are used in the transactions to provide real-time data to the business system.

"PleXML is a tremendous tool when coupled with Plexus Online," said Plexus Systems President Mark Symonds. "Our manufacturing enterprise clients are consistently impressed with the quality of Kors' work as well as their keen understanding of the challenges faced by manufacturers. They are tremendous partners in delivering robust business solutions which drive down cost and minimize waste while enabling greater manufacturing efficiency."

PowerPlex will be attended by hundreds of executives from fast-growth manufacturers from around the world. In addition to Kors and other presenters, a keynote address will be delivered by David Brousell, editor-in-chief for Managing Automation magazine.
