Women in Focus FORUMs January 2004 Kick-Off Meeting Announcement & 2003 Year-End Summary of Success Women in Focus FORUM, A Professional Business Network, recaps a successful track record and shares the vision of the Mentorship Match Program in 2004. Ontario, CA (PRWEB) December 21, 2003 -- At Women in Focus FORUM, people come together in pure synergy among a community of highly motivated, like-minded, professional people. Women in Focus FORUM has been serving California communities since 1999, through its Annual Empowerment Conference & Gala Awards Ceremonies, and has acquired overwhelming success as a result of the quality of linkages and partnerships forged, and business-educational resources given to people of diverse backgrounds and ages. "At Women in Focus FORUM, we challenge people to step onto a platform which challenges them to first invest their time and energy to learn the knowledge, techniques, 'how to information, and both technical and people skills to propel them to the next level of success they have defined, " says President, Jonnetta Chambers.
To date, Women in Focus FORUM has directly served more than 700 women, men, college students and teens combined to: Build Partnerships; Secure Jobs; Secure Clients; Increase Business Impact; Improve Self-Direction; Invite Change; Embrace Diversity; Clarify Life Focus; Be a Better Role Model; Obtain a Mentor; Improve Leadership Skill; Educate Self; Broaden Skill-Base; Achieve Goals; Be More Accountable; and Network for Success.
"We look forward to our newest addition to the family, the Mentorship Match Program (introduced earlier this year), to become an additional hallmark of the Women in Focus FORUM name, " continues Chambers. One of Women in Focus FORUMs allies, the National Association for Female Executives, headquartered in New York, NY - which honored Chambers as a Woman of Excellence in the Mentorship Category in April 2003 - serves as one of its member resources in the areas of financial and political statistics and information.
ABOUT THE MENTORSHIP MATCH PROGRAM A safe and challenging environment designed to support women, men, college students and teens in their pursuit to set and achieve goals. Member participants learn about the roles and responsibilities of mentors and mentees, and are voluntarily matched. Interdependent success ingredients of the program are accountability to self, the mentor/mentee and the Women in Focus FORUM Program Facilitator. We get people on the right track and offer diverse participation components such as face-to-face meetings, web-based, online and tele-conference environments. Success is encouraged, based on four key principals:
[1 support is essential, [2 setting accountable goals is required, [3 working with a mentor is priceless, and [4 no one achieves success alone -- every one needs help.
So, when you think of success, think of Women in Focus FORUM, and think of a place where you will be embraced, encouraged, filled with synergy, receive friendship, challenged to assess self, empowered to change and grow, and expected to engage with excellence! "COME TO A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN EXPERIENCE A 'WIFF' OF SUCCESS!"
