West Cost Rap; The Savior of West Coast Rap jailed for smoking a joint.

Non Stop, the Savior of West Coast Rap was recently jailed for getting high. Under the Federal Govs' parole guidelines parolees can be sentenced up to 8 months in jail for puffing the Green.

(PRWEB) December 27 2003--Ghetto Logik Entertainment, the same company that brought you the in-depth documentary on Street Gangs, has just inked a deal with Non Stop and it's Ghetto Logik Record Label.

Non Stop, believed to be the Savior of West Coast Rap, had just completed enough songs for his first album, when he was sentenced to Federal time for smoking a joint while on parole.

His scheduled prison release date is April 4th 2004; His record release date will follow soon after with three additional songs that will cover his experiences while in jail.

Non Stop is considered by many to be what Gangster Rap was meant to be, which is poetry from the streets, today Gangster rap is mostly fantasy from the studio.

West Coast Rap fell off because the streets were cut out of the industry. "It's all studio now. Cats like Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and even Snoop Dog ain't in no way tied to the streets no more, they ain't gangsta no more, if they ever were" says Du Low of Ghetto Logik Records.
