NBA Launches First Health Insurance for Bartenders and Waitstaff

The National Bartenders Association announced today the launch of the first group health plan designed for bartenders and waitstaff with products similar to those offered by Aetna Insurance Company(AET).

(PRWEB) January 8 2004--The National Bartenders Association announced today the creation of the first group health plan designed for bartenders and waitstaff.

By working with American Health Advantage of Aventura, Florida, the NBA is bringing a comprehensive health insurance product to a group that has been vastly underserved by the insurance marketplace.

David Craver, NBA President, stated, "The majority of the one million bartenders and waitstaff in the U.S. currently do not have access to group rate health plans." Craver continued, "With this plan we're going to change that!"

The NBA Health Plan will give independent restaurants the ability to compete for top talent when hiring. Their employess can obtain competitively priced insurance through bartender.org.
