This clever adaptation of the Classic" game allows you to put Your Business" in the middle of the action where everyone can see it. How does it work and whats included? Its a new twist to an old board game. Organizations will sponsor one of the game board spaces that will be customized with your companys information. Attendees play a 90-minute game of Collin-Opoly (table of 4) to win prizes. Sponsors will also receive copies of the board game. The evening will also include a buffet, coffee and dessert. There will be one winner from each table and the grand prizewinner of the night. The game offers many surprises and great auction items.

Its a casual event, complete with band and fabulous prizes. The event will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at 7PM in the Collinwood Hall located at the Plano Centre, 2000 E. Spring Creek Pkwy Plano, TX 75074.

Everyone loves to play board games, so who wouldnt love to have and play a board game customized for their community. Collin-Opoly will be comprised of local businesses in, but not limited to, Collin County. HGLM is a charitable, non-profit organization in the Plano area committed to helping single mother families in Collin County become economically self-sufficient.

HGLM provides the optimum incubator path to self-sufficiency for the single mothers by providing transitional housing, childcare, vocational assessment, training and job placement assistance. This training opportunity will provide young ladies with the tools and development skills necessary to become successful, independent and productive citizens, which further pursue the opportunity to break the cycle of dysfunction throughout the family unit.

The program is designed within a solid foundation that has been divinely and strategically planned for perpetual success. Every effort on the part of HGLM is focused on the participants attaining economic self-sufficiency in the shortest amount of time possible.

Deadline to sponsor a board space is March 28, 2004. Games will be sold for $20.00 and sponsorship ranges from $50 to $2,500.
