New England Architects Design Bau Wau Wow Houses for Hull Seaside Animal Rescue's Barkitecture 2004 -- There's Still Time to Join the Pack The animals of Hull Seaside Animal Rescue need a Woof over their heads, and New England architects are leading the way by creating and building designer doggie digs for auction. The event, Barkitecture, will take place March 21st, 2004, from 1-5pm, at the Red Lion Inn in Cohasset, MA. Hull, MA (PRWEB) January 7 2004--Hull Seaside Animal Rescue (HSAR) is hosting Barkitecture, a live auction of designer doghouses, on Sunday, March 21, from 1-5 PM, at the Red Lion Inn in Cohasset, MA. Inspired by Fred Albert's whimsical book, Barkitecture, a compendium of interesting and historic canine abodes, Barkitecture will feature a cocktail reception and a silent auction, to be followed by a live auction of custom-designed dog houses created by architects from across New England. All proceeds will benefit the shelter buildout and operations.
Being the first of its kind in Massachusetts, this event has attracted a great deal of interest among New England's architectural and design community, as well as animal lovers. The event will begin with a cocktail reception and silent auction featuring fine art, gift certificates and an array of gifts for pets and their humans alike.
Designer doggie digs will include the work of some of Massachusetts' finest architects, including: ARC/Architectural Resources, Burt Hill Kosar Rittelmann, The Design Project, Gail Sullivan Associates, Gwendolyn Butler Architect, Hajian Architects, HKT Architects, Inc., Jan Gleysteen Architects, Inc., Leers Wienzapfel Associates, Mark Forth Architect with MFA Builders, Inc., MIT Chapter of American Institute of Architecture Students, Mostue & Associates, Roberts Dinion Architects, Inc. with Ken Vona Construction, Shoreline Studios and Edgewater Architects with Flintlock Construction, Sterling Associates Inc. Architects, Strekalovsky Hoit Raymond, and Studio Luz.
There's still time to join the pack. HSAR is still seeking donations for the silent and live auctions, as well as offering sponsorship opportunities. All donations are fully tax-deductible.
