Ad Agency OLE Taps Ricardo Trejo as Creative Director

Reinforces Leadership Team by Adding a Proven Visionary

(PRWEB) May 30, 2008 -- OLE, the New York-based advertising agency focused on the U.S. Hispanic market, today announced that Ricardo Trejo has taken the helm as Creative Director for the New York and Mexico operations. Trejo has been consulting with OLE's Mexico City office since November 2007 and now takes the full leadership role for both offices. He will be based in New York.

"We are very excited to have Ricardo become the Creative team captain. Clients have been very impressed with the strength of his creative output and leadership during his consulting work in Mexico; they want to work more and more with him," said Javier Escobedo, OLE's Managing Partner. "We work hard to make sure that OLE continues to be a welcoming home for great creative talent."

Trejo has a long history of creating, managing and developing creative teams for major agencies on both sides of the border. He joins OLE to support a surge in demand of high-quality creative resulting from increased investments in 2008 from most of the client roster.

"I'm thrilled to join an agency with a very unique approach to Hispanic advertising and such a solid track record of great creative," said Trejo. "At OLE, creativity permeates all departments and levels, which is a key factor for us to be able to deliver outstanding work to clients."

OLE's Creative team has been led by well-recognized Creative heads, having been co-founded in 2003 by Paco Olavarrieta, now of Adrenalina; followed by Charly Tornell, now at Y&R Miami. Trejo joins OLE from a sabbatical after leaving GlobalHue's New York office. These leaders have brought the agency not only client success, but also a steady string of creative awards; most recently as a finalist in the London International Awards.
