DataOne Software's VIN Decoder Hits its Target with Dealerships Looking to Decode Installed Vehicle Equipment

DataOne Software announces that its VIN decoder has decoded 399,000 pieces of installed equipment in 10 months.

BOSTON, MA (PRWEB) January 14, 2004 -- DataOne Software today announced that it has both subscribed and pilot dealerships using its V.I.N.S. service in 32 states with approximately 399,000 individual pieces of installed equipment decoded using its patented VIN decode engine since January of 2003.

The V.I.N.S. service is available for a small startup cost and $5.00 per vehicle processed. Vehicles are sent to all online destinations and dealerships can quickly print window stickers and buyers guides. The decode engine is capable of decoding up to 150 unique vehicle installed options. Dealerships are also benefiting from the 'immediate update to web site' feature which, included in the $5.00 per vehicle fee, updates the dealerships web site immediately after vehicles are added to inventory or when any data for any vehicle changes

Dealerships across the United States are taking advantage of the automated DMS polling, twice daily web site and once daily mall updates as well as high quality window stickers and buyers guides.
