The 50th Commemorative Game - Milan vr Muncie: The Rematch of the Movie 'Hoosiers'

From one miracle shot in 1954, the tiny town of Milan, IN wins the State Championship and now they get a second chance to show everyone that even the small can win big.

The Milan Indians once again receive their chance at proving that it was not a 'fluke' when they took away the Indiana State Championsip from defending champs, the Muncie Central Bearcats in 1954.

The 50th Commermorative historical game will take place on Febuary 21st, 2004 from the Muncie Central Fieldhouse, where 8 State Championship banners hang high from the rafters.

The game will be aired on ESPN Classics on Feb. 21, 2004. Will Bobby Plump, Milan's hero of 1954 be there? Will Larry Bird be perched in the grandstands? Who will show up for this exciting and unbelievable game?
