About HBF Group:

HBFs focus since its inception has been the design, development, implementation and support of Enhanced 9-1-1 (E911) emergency telecommunications systems. Its' flagship product is SYSTEM-9. SYSTEM-9 Zenith Opus One (ZOO) is a true client-server system, utilizing Oracle for the database engine with a Windows GUI front-end. It includes browser-based tools to aid in data management, CLEC service order automation, MSAG updating and PSAP discrepancy reporting.

The system is fully compatible with NENA standards (NENA 2.1, and NENA 4) and Wireless Phase I and Phase II E911 deployment. It integrates with all types of selective routing switches and PSAP equipment. It can be utilized by ILECs, CLECs, ALECs, Wireless Carriers, and Governmental Entities (municipalities, counties, and states). The multi-user flexibility of SYSTEM-9 allows an individual host (the host can be any of the entities mentioned) to generate and maintain E9-1-1 databases and MSAGs for multiple LECs, governmental entities and private entities, with each entitys database securely protected.

HBF has a record of 100% uptime for over eighteen continuous years and customer-documented statistics show that only 0.0005% of 9-1-1 calls using a SYSTEM-9 ALI database have address discrepancies, which is by far the best in the industry. HBFs SYSTEM-9, Zenith Opus One (ZOO) operates on Stratus fault-tolerant server hardware utilizing the HP-UX operating system.

HBF Group, Inc. is a privately held company founded in 1983 and based in Austin, Texas.
