San Francisco wedding and event planners are invited to explore the historic and beautifully maintained art deco and period ambiance at The City Club of San Francisco’s Second Tuesday Wedding and Event Open House. The next open house will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, January 10 on the 10th and 11th floors of the San Francisco Sotck Exchange Tower located at 155 Sansome Street in San Francisco.
With fine art ubiquitously distributed throughout the elegant San Francisco wedding venue and event destination—The City Club is a top choice of many planners. From gold and silver plated ceilings in the main dining room to Diego Rivera’s first commissioned fresco outside of Mexico ascending the stairwell, the event space is what many dream about in a San Francisco event venue.
“We work with a lot of people who want their wedding or event to feel like San Francisco—and they want exclusivity,” said Michelle Kimmins, director of sales and catering. “They don’t want a generic hotel ballroom where they have to share the lobby.”
With room for 220 guests, the club is as intimate as it is private. Located on the 10th and 11th floors of 155 Sansome Street in San Francisco, the Second Tuesday Wedding and Event Open House is set-up for a mock wedding ceremony. The club serves Champagne and fine seasonal hors devours like crab cakes or ahi tuna tartare.
Each monthly Open House features a different vendor each month, usually related to weddings, such as a DJ or florist.
Weddings are completely customizable, but a typical wedding would utilize the City Club’s 10th floor for cocktails, the ceremony, and dancing, and guests would move to the 11th Floor Main Dining Room for the wedding feast.
