PreVisor Underwrites Human Capital Institute's "Financial Services" Learning Initiatives

The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a global professional association and educator in talent management strategies, and PreVisor, a leader in predictive employee selection, announced today that PreVisor will sponsor HCI's Financial Services learning and research track. Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) March 15, 2006 -- The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a global professional association and educator in talent management strategies, and PreVisor, a leader in predictive employee selection, announced today that PreVisor will sponsor HCI's Financial Services learning and research track. Recognizing that different industries often face unique human capital challenges, the Financial Services track is one of several industry-specific areas where HCI is focusing its considerable thought resources.

Over the past several decades, the financial services industry has changed in both size and complexity to meet the requirements of more savvy and demanding individual and institutional investors. In addition, mergers & acquisitions, layers of regulation, and the potential for scandal have added to the industry's dynamics. As a result, today's financial services positions can require a different skill set and knowledge base than has traditionally been required.

"In today's business climate, the financial services industry has unique talent management challenges," said Allan Schweyer, HCI's Executive Director. "We're pleased that PreVisor is supporting this track aimed at helping financial services organizations better meet these personnel challenges."

The track will focus on talent management initiatives in the financial services industry, showcasing ideas that work. The Thought Leader panel will examine new methods and trends, and best practices in talent management. Also available are Webcasts, white papers, education, and other resources to provide financial services employers with information to effectively manage today's workforce.

"Finding, developing, and retaining top talent remains a challenge for the financial services industry," said Noel Sitzmann, CEO of PreVisor. "We're pleased to support the Human Capital Institute's efforts to examine solutions and give employers insight into overcoming these specific personnel challenges."
