10KWEB Finds New Growth and Opportunity in Asia

Malaysia Joins Global Family Network

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 12, 2012

Internet start-up, 10KWEB, is pleased to announce the addition of Malaysia to its Global Family Network. Malaysia is the second Asian nation, after China, to have an active 10KWEB presence among its citizens.

Malaysia is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural country and former territory of the British Empire. It broke away from British rule to become fully independent in 1957. Its total population is over twenty-nine million people, of which over sixty per cent are considered regular internet users. Internet usage is becoming especially important since there is no freedom of press in the country and the government has been known to censor both print and television media.

As of press time there was no clear link to Malaysia among current 10KWEB members. 10KWEB Co-Founder, Anthony Martins, believes the answer is quite simply, “A matter of positive word of mouth. Word is spreading about 10KWEB and so both the curious and the motivated are seeking us out. People are hungry for new opportunities. And we’re happy to share with them.”

10KWEB was created January 2012 by Anthony Martins and Thomas Bang as an online resource for aspiring blog writers and small business owners. Their website launched on March 5th, 2012 and is currently used in the United States, Mexico, Great Britain, Germany, China, Malaysia, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Italy, Argentina, Brazil and New Zealand with more markets in development.
