10KWEB proudly announces that its Co-Founder, Anthony Martins, can now be seen in the film, “Bad-Ass”. The action film, which stars Danny Trejo, Charles S. Dutton and Ron Perlman, is about a Vietnam War veteran who becomes a local hero after saving a man from being robbed. The story’s stakes are raised when Trejo’s character is forced to take on corrupt men of power after his friend is murdered. The premise is based on the Youtube viral video sensation, “AC Transit Bus Fight” which took place in February, 2010. It is also the latest leading role for Trejo, a character actor known mostly for playing the villain in films. “Bad-Ass” is currently playing in theatres and on Video-On-Demand.
Martins portrays a criminal in the film that makes the mistake of crossing Trejo’s character. Martins began his acting career in 2000 with small supporting roles in both television and film. Soon after, he crossed over into stunt work, saying, “I’m a very physically active guy. And stunts allow me to exercise that physicality in various ways while contributing to a group dynamic on set. Plus, stunts can be very challenging. And I love a good challenge.”
Martins uses his film and television work to build up capital and contacts with which to invest in his business ventures, like 10KWEB. He added, “I’m a business man at heart. Helping the business world grow and change gives me just as much satisfaction as booking an acting or stunt role.”
