Internet start-up, 10KWEB, announces the addition of Brazil to the list of countries it operates within. Brazil follows on the heels of Argentina who joined the 10KWEB global family the second week of May.
Brazil is the largest country in South America with a population over one hundred, ninety-four million people (194, 037,075), making it the fifth most populous country on the planet. It is the seventh most active country in terms of internet usage with over forty-two per cent of the population recognized as regular internet users. It is this high-level of internet traffic that led to Newsweek labeling Brazil “Schmooze Nation” in 2007.
“We knew this was coming but not this quickly,” said 10KWEB Co-Founder Anthony Martins. He went on to say, “this only goes to show how hungry the world is for something new, for new opportunities. We’ve come far in only a short time and we’re only getting started!”
10KWEB was created January 2012 by Anthony Martins and Thomas Bang as an online resource for aspiring blog writers and small business owners. Their website launched on March 5th, 2012 and is currently used in the United States, Mexico, Great Britain, Germany, China, Morocco, Tunisia, Italy and New Zealand with more markets in development.
