Internet Start-Up Responds to Questions from Around the World

10KWEB announces it now offers a Live Chat option to both members and visitors during business hours. Similar to Skype, Live Chat allows anyone to ask questions which are in turn answered by 10KWEB staff. During non-business hours, questions are submitted in a written message form but must also include the name and email of the visitor if they wish to receive an answer. Submissions during non-business hours are generally answered within a twelve-hour period, if not sooner.

10KWEB’s Live Chat option is the latest addition to the site, but one which Co-Founders Anthony Martins and Thomas Bang both find extremely useful. Martins said, “Live Chat allows members and visitors to ask questions which Thomas [Bang] and I did not consider when we initially started designing 10KWEB. It has become an integral part in the growth of the company.”

Live Chat has also proven to be useful in tracking 10KWEB’s exposure on the web. Martins said, “When we receive a question or message from a visitor we get an idea how they first learned about the site. It is especially rewarding when we realize the company has cracked a new corner of the Internet.”

10KWEB was created January 2012 by Anthony Martins and Thomas Bang as an online resource for aspiring blog writers and small business owners. Their website launched on March 5th, 2012 and is currently used in the United States, Mexico, Great Britain, Germany, China, Morocco, Tunisia, Italy and New Zealand with more markets in development.
