It consists of 205 Suite Chalets and 3 Alpine Deluxe Suites, built in the authentic Alpine style. Designed as a dream mountain resort, the Resort covers an area of over seven hectares, integrating perfectly with the splendid natural landscape all around. The chalet suites are distributed between numerous mountain huts with a very elegant design, similar to private houses, so that top service is combined with maintaining the guests' cherished privacy. Each chalet suite is stocked with the finest quality products to welcome guests: Kempinski courtesy products (Molton Brown in the Alpine suites), and Frette towels and bathrobes - tasteful details to complete the luxury furnishings, combining minimalist elegance with the warm, alpine atmosphere.
Four restaurants for all tastes
With four different restaurants and bars to choose from, the Resort is a real paradise for gourmets, able to satisfy their every wish. The regional delicacies on offer, and dishes from the best Italian tradition revisited in a contemporary way, are the strong point of the Village's restaurants, together with the experience of the chefs. For an elegant dinner, guests can go to the Pan Beni' restaurant, serving modern gourmet cuisine in Italian style, while La Taverna is a typical trattoria serving dishes inspired by the tradition with a modern twist. The largest restaurant, the Tuccia, offers international cuisine and a lavish buffet breakfast. To complete the picture, there is the Pizzeria, which suits more informal, family tastes.

Following its recent thorough re-styling, including the enlargement of its floorspace, the "Mineralia" wellness centre aims to be the symbol of the philosophy that inspires the whole establishment, offering the utmost in relaxation for those who love the mountains, skiing and snow. Perfectly integrated with the surrounding landscape, and created from natural materials, with an elegant design and a warm welcome, the Wellness Centre is the ideal way to complete a day of pure sport. The Resort provides also a ski storage, ski rental and a ski school. The shop sells sport clothing and ski equipment. But the Resort is not just a paradise for winter sports lovers. Every detail has been carefully planned to enable all guests to enjoy its comforts to the full, so it also offers a bicycle hire service, a cinema, a nursery and a kids' club.
The Milky Way: a universe dedicated to skiing
Called after the galaxy that includes the Solar system, the Milky Way (|Via Lattea) is one of the most important skiing areas in the world, a legacy of the 2006 Winter Olympics held in Turin. The Kempinski Pragelato Village is in a privileged position for access to this network of 450 kilometres of slopes: a 70-person cable lift leads from the resort to the slopes and ski passes are provided so that guests can avoid queuing. These services are included in both the weekend and weekly packages expressly designed for fans of winter sports.
The Milky Way offers state of the art ski-lifts, technical and freestyle racing slopes and a technologically advanced and highly developed network of snow-making facilities with the help of new reservoirs to produce the snow. With such a huge expanse of territory, the area offers endless opportunities to enjoy winter sports: it extends between Italy and France, ranging from Sestrière to Sauze d'Oulx, Sansicario, Cesana, Claviere, and as far as the French resort of Montgenèvre. The over two hundred pistes, all interconnected for those on skis, are at heights ranging from 1350 metres at Cesana to 2800 at Motta, with a network of snow-making systems covering over 60 per cent of the skiable surface. The most expert skiers can also enjoy the thousand hump pistes: these are marked slopes, canyons and particularly challenging runs which allow skiers to express themselves freely among the natural humps. For fans of snowboarding and cross-country skiing, there are four snow parks available at Sauze d'Oulx, Sestrière, Sansicario and Claviere.
