Today MBA Women International announced their partnership with the June National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) Executive Leadership Conference. Gail Romero, CEO MBA Women International, will be addressing the attendees on Eyes High Eyes Wide A View of Leadership From A Racecar Driver. Heather Howell, CEO, Rooibee Red Tea and a board member for MBA Women International will participate in a panel Through the Looking Glass: A Cross-Cultural Perspective from the Top.
The NSHMBA conference will focus on What Keeps Leaders Up at Night? Corporate leaders are faced with a myriad of challenges, competing priorities, and company goals. They are asked to optimize financial strategy, increase stakeholder wealth, and to lead the business as a whole. The Executive Leadership Program is designed to help a diverse group of executive leaders from across the country achieve their long-term vision while balancing the competing demands of today’s challenging economic climate and business objectives.
MBA Women International has been represented recently in a global leadership conference when Romero was a panelist at the Center for Global Dialogue and Cooperation Conference at which many other world leaders spoke including President Clinton, the President of Bostwana and the Prime Minister of Albania. She had the opportunity to speak about women in leadership roles in business and government. While there Romero stressed the importance for companies to understand that they have to bring more females into leadership positions. Romero says “President Clinton supported the initiative for more women in leadership positions when he gave his speech at the conference.”
MBA Women International will hold their annual Leadership Conference and Career Fair October 18-20 in Phoenix Arizona. MBA Women International is pleased to announce BTS, the global leader in strategy implementation through the use of business simulations and experiential learning programs, as a first time sponsor with the 2012 Conference. “Our core business is supporting large corporations in strategy execution,” says Kristen Wrigley, Corporate Recruiter at BTS. “Hiring MBA’s from top business schools is essential to our success and MBA Women International is a key partner in our long term talent strategy. We see the Leadership Conference and Career Fair as our opportunity to identify top female MBA talent and provide some of our female consultants with leadership development and networking opportunities, which ultimately delivers even better results for our clients.”
