Ski Japan - A Guide to Skiing and Snowboarding in Japan

Until now, there was no one place to get good comprehensive information about winter sports in Japan, even though the last Winter Olympics were held in Nagano Prefecture and brought Japan's slopes into the limelight. A new designed and put on line a new website to fill this gap called SKI JAPAN at www.skijapanguide.com

Ski Japan is a new comprehensive web guide to skiing and snowboarding in Japan. With the winter season starting in Japan, this new web site is providing a service to those living in Japan or planning on visiting Japan to make the most of the excellent winter sports there.

The site currently has detailed information on over eighty five resorts in Japan - from the northern island of Hokkaido to southern areas of the country. The main winter sports regions of Japan - Nagano, Niigata and Hokkaido - all have extensive location guides with details on how to get to the resorts from main areas of Japan.

The site is updated daily in the season, with weather and condition reports in three of the main regions.

In an effort to make Ski Japan more interactive and to try and build up a sense of "community" , the Ski Japan Bulletin Board has been established for people to exchange views and report on their experiences on the slopes in Japan.

A new accommodation section also has some ideas for places to stay near the slopes at a reasonable cost.

Ski Japan is a complete resource for those interested in the Japanese slopes.
