GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE POLICY NOW AVAILABLE:

As a result of the AFA's transition as the 'official senior level' of amateur football through an agreement with the United States Amateur Football Federation, Inc., all 400 plus semi-pro football teams in the United States are now qualified to take advantage of the USAFF's 'general liability insurance program'. This insurance program is designed to help semi-pro teams and leagues secure liability insurance at an incredibly low premium of $318 per team. The policy limits are one million dollars ($1,000,000). Applying for coverage requires the completion of a simple one page enrollment form. Stadium and field owners (including high school facilities) can be added as "additional insureds" for no additional charge.

"We are extremely happy to be able to provide semi-pro teams the opportunity to purchase reasonable insurance coverage necessary for them to obtain a 'certificate of insurance' for their stadiums and playing fields", said AFA president, Ron Real from his Florida office. "The USAFF worked diligently with their insurance program advisor John Sadler, of Columbia, SC and the K&K Insurance Group, Inc. to include the AFA (semi-pro football) in the USAFF's overall insurance package. We are greatly indebted to Mr. Sadler who was instrumental in arranging several conference calls with the K&K sales executives and underwriters to help us convince them that semi-pro football should qualify for a lower premium rate; a rate lower than those normally charged by insurance brokers and carriers for professional football teams".

Mr. John Sadler of Sadler & Company, will serve as the AFA/USAFF's agent and has assigned Debbie Edelmayer as the AFA's account sales executive. Debbie is now available to answer questions about the AFA's new 'general liability insurance program' as well as to take team orders for purchasing policies. In addition to being an insurance agent and risk management/sports specialist, John is also an attorney aware of many of the circumstances surrounding amateur sports.

The company writing the policy (K&K Insurance Group) is the world's largest writer of sports insurance and its clients include the NFL, NBA, and Major League Baseball. "We feel very good about making this insurance benefit available to all semi-pro teams across the country and the fact that we were able to convince the K&K Insurance Group to accept the American Football Association as part of their prestigious client list", commented the AFA president, Ron Real.
