NEW DEVICE PROTECTS PIPES FROM FREEZING

Stockton, CA-HWS Ltd. Has introduced a new device they call the Hotpepper" that protects against pipe damage due to freezing.
According to Dennis Metzger, President and CEO of HWS Ltd. When the water in your pipes freezes it expands causing the pipes to burst and split. Upon thawing these pipes can flood a home with water, causing thousands of dollars in damage".
When outside temperatures fall below freezing the Hotpepper automatically circulates several gallons of water from your water heater through the hot and cold water pipes, and back to the water heater once an hour, until the freezing danger is past.
According to Western Insurance Information Services (WIIS), well over two hundred thousand homes will suffer damage from frozen pipes every year. Insurance studies have shown that frozen and broken water pipes rank #2 behind hurricanes in terms of the number of homes damaged and amount of claim costs in the U.S.
The Hotpepper is easy to install, requiring only hose connections to the plumbing, and it costs less than $150.00.
HWS Ltd. has posted complete product information, including a step-by-step run-through of installation, on their website at www.chilipepperapp.com/hotpepper.htm. The information number is (800) 914-9887.
