Irvine, CA -- February 28, 2000 - Roland DGA Corporation today announced the release of the completely redesigned SignMate® 6.5, Rolands professional suite of software tools for signmakers, print-for-pay providers, and graphics professionals.

According to Thomas OReilly, Product Specialist for Software, numerous new features and enhancements have been added to the SignMate family of products making it the ultimate tool for signmakers.

Three key areas are entirely new in SignMate 6.5. First, it lets you match the look and feel of the program youre most familiar with -- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDraw," said OReilly. Secondly, most design and editing work can be accomplished in just four major pages, which are accessed on the main tool bar -- greatly increasing speed and productivity." OReilly went on to add that a final key feature is SignMates compatibility with Windows® 2000 as well as Windows 95/98, NT 4.0 and Mac.

Other new SignMate features include contour cut, support of spot colors, color calibration, nesting, FMX dithering pattern for faster performance and improved image quality, color separation, gradient fills, job statistics and optimized drivers for all Roland printers, cutters and printer/cutters.
