Carol Ringwald and Thomas Hobin named as
Senior Vice Presidents

ISSUED: March, 1, 2000...Shawmut Consulting Associates, Inc. -- a nationally recognized a management consulting firm that assists financial service firms offering retirement plans and services -- has announced a company reorganization that includes the promotion of Carol Ringwald and Thomas Hobin to the position of Senior Vice President as part of a company reorganization.

The reorganization follows the departure of Shawmut Consulting Vice President John Aucoin. Aucoin, who co-founded Shawmut Consulting with Revzon, recently left the company to pursue a new business venture.

"The rapid growth we experienced in 1999 and continued success we have had thus far in 2000, presented the need for us to rethink our organizational structure," said Shawmut Consulting President Les Revzon. "In the past year, our revenues have doubled and we are averaging three to four new clients a month. Carol and Tom, both of whom have been directly responsible for building our growing business, will be better able to move us forward in their new positions as we eye further expansion into the Mid-West."

Ringwald, with more than 20 years experience as a pension systems analyst, will oversee Shawmut Consultings growing business in Daily Valuation consultation and training, a division on target for as much as a 50 percent increase in business this coming year. She will be based at Shawmuts Jacksonville, Florida office.

Hobin, in addition to his oversight of sales and marketing for Shawmut Consulting, will oversee strategic planning for the firm. He will also take on an active role in promoting the company through direct calling efforts and participation with trade shows and conferences. He will work from Shawmuts office in Middletown, Connecticut.

Additional staffing changes at Shawmut Consulting include the addition of Finance Officer Mark McCreadie and Office Manager Jennifer Revzon, both of whom will be based at Shawmut Consultings headquarters in Quincy, Massachusetts.

McCreadie will be responsible for bookkeeping and accounting for the company, as well as cost control, client invoicing, budgeting and business plan development. He will also serve as a liaison to the firms technology vendors.

Revzons various responsibilities will include setting up new accounts, preparation of contracts and various management duties.
