Its a great challenge and privilege to run in such a beautiful and historic place such as Cervinia Italy, a well known ski resort near the Matterhorn in Switzerland. Alot of my training up to that will of course be at altitude at San Gorgonio, Yosemite and of course, Mt .Baldy", said Cindy. As an altitude race, Mt. Baldy Run to the Top was one of the races in the SkyRunning Circuit that could be used as a qualifier for the Fila SkyMarathon. Mt. Baldy has always been a magical place for me so to take my favorite pasttime, trail running, win a race and be able to go to Europe and run is a dream.    Asked why she runs such long distances, Cindy says, The absolute simplicity - that's what I love. When you are climbing, your mind is clearer, freed of all confusions, you have focus, then, suddenly, life becomes sharper, sounds are richer, then you are filled with deep, powerful presence of life".
