SKALI.COM AND CNET MALAYSIA FORGE REGIONAL INTERNET ALLIANCE

Multmedia Super Corridor, March 23: Heralding the move by Malaysian Internet players to step up the delivery of local content to a growing regional audience, leading e-information portal Skali.com (www.skali.com)
today entered into an online alliance with the local network of the world's leading information technology journal -- CNET.

CNET is a global Internet technology journal that tracks events and developments relating to computers, the Internet and digital technologies.

Under the alliance, Skali.com will feature CNET Malaysia (http://malaysia.cnet.com/) content on technology and Internet developments in Malaysia on its Technology Channel. CNET Malaysia will provide Skali.com with news on a daily
Basis.

The strengthening of Skali.com's Technology Channel through this partnership is aimed at providing its fast technology audience with an added layer of breaking and topline news stories that are focused on Malaysia and the region.

Currently, more than two million cyber visitors log on to Skali.com each month, of which some 20 percent are avid followers of technology news.

Skali.com wants to revise this figure upwards up to 30 per cent with the addition of business and technology news from online journals such
as CNET Malaysia.

Says Aimi Aizal, head of Skali.com, "The information technology sector is fast becoming mainstream business. Gone are the days when the Internet is the domain of the so-called "techies". Today, IT is affecting and changing the lifestyle of the population at large and they thirst for technology --related news.

"What Skali.com provides is an one-stop e-info portal that houses, in addition to its high traffic Asia-based business channel, the most comprehensive technology-related information that will in one way or another benefit Malaysians and Asians as whole.

Skali.coms relationship with CNET can be traced back to early last year in which it forged an alliance with CNET Asia on the CNET Gamecentre. Todays partnership is an extension of this existing relationship.

"CNET Malaysia is happy to associate itself with one of Asias major e-info portal. We pride ourselves in providing quality news on IT and technology-related developments in the country and the Asia region. Our relationship with Skali.com has been a longstanding one and we look forward to jointly enhance users experience while surfing the Net," says Yeo Guan Kai, general manager, Asiacontent.com Media Pte Ltd, the company that manages CNET Asia.

"Over the last eight months, CNET Malaysia has built a strong following and is regarded as an authority in the provision of such news on computers, the Internet and digital technologies," he adds.

Over the last two years, Skali.com has been aggregating and bringing back to Malaysia more than 200,000 separate pieces of news and information daily by partnering with more than 100 content providers from Asia and beyond..
