The Oregon Coast Visitors Association needed a brochure" promoting the Oregon Coast when visitors call or ask for information. OREGON COAST magazine annually produces the Mile-by-Mile Guide to Highway 101". These two organizations were destined to meet and have, in fact, agreed to collaborate in the expanded distribution and promotion of the Guide as the official OCVA visitor information brochure.
This is a perfect example of the true Oregon spirit -- two groups working together for the benefit of the State with a common-sense solution," noted Craig Tutor, OCVA President. As a fairly new organization, OCVA needed an extra boost getting a visitor Guide together, representing the entire Coast. The OREGON COAST magazine Mile-by-Mile Guide is a great way to complete the project, with a well-produced Guide now in our hands for visitor inquiries."
Tutor adds that visitors considering or planning trips to the Oregon Coast may contact OCVA for their own copy of the 72-page, full-color magazine Guide by calling (toll-free) 1-888-628-2101, eMailing info@oregon-coast.org or surfing the internet at http://www.oregon-coast.org.
As part of this partnership effort, OREGON COAST magazine produced an expanded run of Mile-by-Mile Guides for distribution to all of Oregons official State Welcome Centers, for OCVA members along the entire Oregon Coast as well as distribution to numerous chambers of commerce and visitor centers throughout Oregon. Visitors to Oregon may pick-up copies of the Guides while traveling, with OREGON COAST magazine subscribers receiving their copy with the May/June edition.
OCVA applauds the cooperation and support from OREGON COAST Magazine and their publishers -- Rob & Alicia Spooner," Tutor notes. The Spooners have been long-time champions for the Oregon Coast and were very grateful for this level of support for our regional visitor destination organization. This is the type of partnership thats a real win-win for all parties concerned."
The Oregon Coast Visitors Association is contract-managed by the Central Oregon Coast Association (in Newport, Oregon) as the coastal regions destination marketing organization, promoting year-round travel, recreation and overnight accommodations.
