RPS Relocation selected by HCD for group move to Silicon Valley

RPS Relocation, a full service relocation management firm based in Dallas, Texas, has been selected to handle the company move of High Connection Density, Inc. from Ithaca, New York to Sunnyvale, California.

RPS was selected after careful review by key officers of HCD and a consulting firm. Stephany Zamora with Core Element, consultant on the project, told RPS the selection was due in part to "all your prompt responses to everything I've asked for...it definitely tipped the scales far in your favor, and I am very happy to be working with you."

HCD will be relocating their entire company headquarters and offices from Ithaca to the Silicon Valley between now and summer. RPS will be managing and providing employees with Relocation Counseling; Orientation Tours; Rental Tours; Home Purchase Assistance; Household Goods Transportation; and Auto Transportation services.

RPS was founded in 1990, at that time providing services to companies relocating employees into the North Texas area. The firm expanded to offer nationwide service in 1997, and recently began offering their relocation services in 22 countries nationwide. They recently assisted an East Coast executive with a move to the Netherlands. RPS has experienced tremendous growth of over 30% in the last 2 years, and has hired 3 new staff members in the last 6 months.

The company also believes very strongly in giving back to the community. RPS donates 10% of all its profits to charities and youth organizations. Shelley Seale, the president of RPS, even launched her own program called "Girls Who Dare," a 6-week introduction of entrepreneurship to at-risk teen girls. The program was recently written up in the Fort Worth Star Telegram, and Seale was awarded the Volunteer of the Year honor from Arlington Youth Services, the organization that sponsors Girls Who Dare.

"We believe it's really important to make a difference in our community," Seale says.
