Scottsdale, Arizona) -- Continental Promotion Group Inc. (CPG) has announced record revenues from its first quarter sales efforts in Europe for 2000. The results represent an increase of 873 percent higher than those posted for the same period in 1999.

CPG officials attribute the increase in part to new business generated by key clients such as Nortel Networks, Symantec, and Lucent Technologies, and from the promotion programs that they have launched with CPG in Europe. Many of CPGs current U.S.-based clients with operations in Europe, along with European-based clients, are witnessing very favorable results from their promotion expansion strategies in Europe, and from the increase in consumer response to rebate/cash back promotions.

Continental Promotion Groups European business has steadily increased since establishing its European operations in Tipperary, Ireland in 1996. Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, CPG was the first U.S.-based promotion fulfillment company to offer its services of its kind in Europe, and has since added offices in Toronto, London, Paris, and Berlin, with future expansions planned.
