CTS announces spin-off of call center division as CONNECTEL Communications

CONNECTEL spin-off strengthens market position as Canada's premier outsourced contact center.

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, May 17, 2000. CTS announced today the spin-off of it's successful call center / contact center division as CONNECTEL Communications. Concurrent to the spin-off, a new web site has been launched at www.connectel.com containing detailed descriptions of CONNECTEL's various outsourced call center services. Services include traditional telephone based services as well as advanced web-based interactive services.

CONNECTEL Communications, established in 1985, was one of two original companies that merged to become CTS in 1992. "The revival of the CONNECTEL name reflects our commitment as a market leader in the call center industry. ", Said Michael Marshall, Vice President of CONNECTEL. "Shifting operations of the call center division to the CONNECTEL name strengthens our market position greatly. The CONNECTEL name has a rich history of trust and experience. CONNECTEL has advanced Internet interaction capabilities which include: live chat; co-browsing; file and image sharing; white boarding and form sharing.
