Putting a Face on Virtual Assistants; IVAA Announces VA of the Week
LOS ANGELES -- In a move to make business more personal in an often impersonal world, IVAA (International Virtual Assistants Association), has launched VA of the Week. Each week an outstanding Virtual Assistant (VA) will be featured on IVAAs non-profit website.
VA of the Week addresses questions potential employers might ask. How long has the independent contractor been in business? What is his background? Are there any specialties that set his practice apart from others? The featured VA has a photo and background summary, along with an interview, prominently displayed on the website. Businesses now have the opportunity to quickly know if an employee is a good fit for their needs.
You have to feel comfortable with the skills and integrity of who you work with, whether theyre in the next room or on the other side of the world," said Terri Lee Romine, President of IVAA.
The VA of the Week is carefully selected by the officers of IVAA. IVAA looks for qualified VAs who are active in the virtual community with up-to-date skills.
We want to feature a VA that is interested in maintaining the high standards of the virtual assistant industry," said Romine.
The International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the professional education and development of members of the virtual assistance profession, and to educating the public on the role and function of the Virtual Assistant.
