May 18, 2000
What do you get when you combine onsite PC service, online PC shopping, web design and business consultation?
You get Magic Computer Services--a brand new company that brings you all of that and then some.
From: Magic Computer Services, LLC.
Contact: Kevin A. Kierstead (802)723-magic(6244) or email: info@723magic.com. Site is www.723magic.com.
Magic Computer Services provides onsite PC repair, tutorials, upgrades and training. We specialize in "over-the-phone" PC questions about any PC, onsite repair/service, and online sales as an authorized reseller of NextDayPC.com. Other services that we offer are web site design, business consultation (as related to PCs and networks and all associated software), commercial advertising, web promotion for existing sites, remote troubleshooting and system maintenance and cleaning.
We haven't been operating long, but the growth is phenomenal. We are filling two needs; 1) dirt cheap costs on high-quality PC hardware and software and 2) providing the customers a new way to get it all done without leaving the house.
"We're taking people's requests seriously," says owner, Kevin A. Kierstead. "It seems that other companies have lost their focus on the customers' needs, and we're picking people up where the other computer stores are dropping them off."
The typical trip to the traditional computer store goes something like this: Jack buys a new system. He doesn't know how to use it, but he fumbles around for awhile and learns a few things. After some time, he decides that he needs help. He calls the computer store. They say, "We just sell the stuff, we don't do training." So, although the company remains responsible for the integrity of the hardware, they have no help to offer to the customer that simply doesn't know how to use it.
Enter Magic Computer Services: Jack goes to our website ( http://www.723magic.com ) and decides that he wants to order a new laptop computer. He orders online with 40+ bit encryption (this basically means that someone would have to guess 40 or more alpha numeric digits in the proper sequence to steal his credit card number) and saves 150 bucks on the deal vs. typical local stores, gets his notebook PC the NEXT day, and calls Magic Computer Services to come teach him how to use it. He pays us for our visit, but he gets to stay in his house slippers. He later decides that he has a couple of questions about email. He calls us for a small price ($1.99 per minute) and we answer his questions. Then he goes back to our web site and sees our free forum for even more tips. Then he uses our free 50 MB of storage to safely back up important files. Then he adds his newly built homesite to our free links page. This is where warm, fuzzy feelings come from.
"After working at a baker's dozen PC companies including Gateway in IT (Information Technology) and Technical Support, I began to notice a migration trend among the customers," Kierstead said. "They were moving from Mom and Pop Shops to the larger companies for the support that they received." So what is the benefit of buying through Magic Computer Services instead of those PC giants? One is that your going to save a bucket load of money (just do some comparison shopping and find out for yourself). And then there's that little thing..."I'm going to give my customers a hand to shake. I'm going to provide them with the respect that has disappeared in today's business environment. If I had a penny for every time I heard someone say that a computer technician or consultant made them feel dumb, I'd have Bill Gates firing his PR people," says Kierstead. "What do we bring to the market that's new? Courtesy and convenience. And NextDayPC.com shares in our belief that things should be cheap, simple, and convenient. We're an unbeatable team.".
Magic Computer Services, LLC was founded in March, 2000 by Kevin A. Kierstead. NextDayPC.com was founded in January, 1999. Both companies are under 24-hour customer surveillance by "ePublicEye" as registered "Safer shopping sites."
Thank you for your time and consideration.
