Every Month is Dinosaur Month at the Dinosaur Farm . . .

Dinosaurs may be extinct, but they are definitely hot! Stephen Spielberg is busy with the next Jurassic Park" sequel, The Discovery Channel proclaimed April Dinosaur Month, and the world is standing in line to see Disneys Dinosaur" movie. But this isnt news to a cozy little educational toy store in South Pasadena , California. The Dinosaur Farm has been specializing in dinosaur toys for over 5 years and is watching its dinosaur toy website (http://www.DinoFarm.com) grow like a baby Brachiosaurus.

Since launching the One-Stop Dino Shop in December, The Dinosaur Farm has shipped Dino goodies to Dinomaniacs all over the country, as well as, places as far away as Japan, Singapore, and Sweden. They offer everything from a sedan-sized inflatable Brachiosaurus ($185) to realistic- looking road signs -Caution: T-Rex Crossing ($8.99) to Dinosaur tattoos ($1.00 for 8). From newborns to adults there is something for everyone.

One thing the folks at The Dinosaur Farm understand: they may be extinct, but Dinosaurs are forever. For every 3,4,5, or 6 year old whose Dinosaur obsession is replaced by a different obsession, theres another 3,4,5 or 6 year old ready to take their place. While most have never seen Jurassic Park, theyve all heard of a T-Rex.

The first day the website went up we got orders", says Dave Plenn, who co-owns the store with his wife Shelley Stephens."We had already done our test market with the physical store, so we had a pretty good idea of what would work and what wouldnt." Stephens notes that during her 15 year tenure as the Director of Marketing and Merchandising for the Los Angeles
Museum of Natural History and the La Brea Tar Pits, every time a school bus pulled up, the

kids all ran into the shops and bought dinosaur items. And this was before 'Jurassic Park was even written. Dinosaurs were, and always will be, fascinating."

A Dinomaniacs delight, this One-Stop Dino Shop can be found online at http://www.DinoFarm.com or stop by and visit the store at 1514 Mission Street in South Pasadena California.
