The Internet has revolutionized life for millions of people around the world - it's made it possible for individuals in isolated places to be a part of current events and to chat with others from all walks of life. The down-side of this, is that people spend a great deal of their time in their own homes, tapping away at their keyboards but never coming face to face with their new friends.

August 27, 1999, Miami Beach, US: Seductionschool.com has changed all that! The Seduction School was created in June '98 by French TV journalist, Nathalie Duffau. Since then, it has attracted more than 64,000 visitors.

Explaining what made her set up this site, Nathalie says, "In France, I earned my living as a television journalist, specializing in lifestyles and investigating the true nature of Europe's varied societies. My work was to listen to people and establish an image of their personalities... always, as objectively as possible, striving to capture the essence of their lives. She has also interviewed some of Hollywood's bigger rollers such as Oliver Stone, Chuck Russel, Alan Parker, Spearhead, Richard Branson (Pt- Virgin)
and she also had the pleasure to interview the Dalai Lama himself!
While listening to others, I often asked myself why some people were able to exercise the power of seduction over others."

Nathalie's search for an answer led her to analyze her own interpersonal experiences, as well as to undertake extensive literary research. Through her readings, she says she discovered a lot of subtleties behind the word "seduction". "Society has transformed most of its poetry into pragmatism, alienating it from its origin," says Nathalie. "Seduction School proposes to help its members answer questions relating to the "process of seduction". It exists for those who are interested in more than a "one night stand" and who wish to explore the meaningful attractions between people."

According to Nathalie, the majority of her members are professional people involved in careers such as writing. Members are able to contact each other through the meeting area.

"Approximately 60% of members are men and 40% are women," she says.
This site melds new technology with old-fashioned advice to help people get out there and to meet with others. Other sites may offer chat rooms and introduction services, but only seductionschool.com has a serie of classes to guide members through some of the awkward stages of a relationship, such as:

As well as the classroom, the site features an area filled with quizzes and tests, designed to reveal what makes each personality tick - some are just for fun, others give insights into behavior, all are interesting.

Also what else is interesting about Seduction School is "the Living Room" section where members may submit their own created web page including photos of themselves, a way to be part of an active social zone. For romance, casual conversation or a place to put their seductive lessons to the test...

Meeting people is all about interacting - in cyberspace and in real life and this site makes it possible for members to do both. It's possible to add a chapter to an online romance story, to suggest topics for future classes, to comment on case studies of different couples and also to physically meet at gatherings organized by site owner, Nathalie Duffau.

"The Seduction School sponsors get together to help our members get to know each other in a fun environment," says Nathalie. "For now the meetings are scheduled to take place in Miami and New York. Eventually we hope to sponsor regular meetings throughout the world!"
