Access announces flexible API web tool for SMEs
Access Accounting Ltd has announced a new API (Application Programmers Interface) web tool. This allows seamless integration between any web site and low-cost Access Accounts e-commerce modules.
The API helps web designers to add a 'Buy Now button to any web site, regardless of how the site is created or hosted. When the button is clicked it takes product descriptions and prices straight into Access Accounts e-commerce modules. This turns a website into a webshop, which is open for trading. It also opens the door for back office integration of accounts software, and front office integration with WorldPay credit card authorisation.
API buttons can be added anywhere on a web page and on as many pages as required.

It is totally flexible and very easy to install.
Access Managing Director Alistair OReilly said, This means that people who have already invested in producing a web site, can have seamless integration with our business to business or business to consumer solution, which in turn integrates with Access e-commerce financials software. Now we can partner with owners of Unix and Linux web sites, in addition to our current NT based market."
Released in June this new facility is available now. It is licensed free of charge to authorised AccessweB dealers who attend a one-day training course in its use. Training is available from Access every month and costs just 175 per day.
