New Horizons to Offer Authorized CIW Training

World's Largest Independent Technology Training Company Joins Growing Network of CIW Authorized Training Providers

AUSTIN, Texas--Aug. 1, 2000-- ProsoftTraining.com (Nasdaq:POSO - news) and New Horizons Computer Learning Centers (Nasdaq:NEWH - news) have teamed to provide high-quality Internet industry training in a market hungry for skilled technical professionals.

Under an agreement signed this week, New Horizons becomes an Authorized Training Provider for the Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) program, the industry-leading certification program for Internet professionals.

``In the past year, New Horizons has achieved tremendous success offering courses mapped to the CIW certification,'' said Thomas J. Bresnan, president and CEO for New Horizons. ``We believe that becoming official providers of CIW-branded curriculum will contribute to the continued growth of CIW sales in our centers.'' New Horizons, the world's largest independent computer training provider, has already trained more than 9,000 students in courses leading to CIW certification in the past six months. In their most recent quarter, New Horizons CIW-related sales grew to $7.7 million. As a result of the agreement announced today, New Horizons expects to experience continued significant growth both domestically and internationally.

New Horizons was recently ranked as one of the top three training companies in the world behind IBM and Oracle according to IDC's Top 15 Worldwide IT Training Providers report. ``We are thrilled that New Horizons has elected to join the CIW Authorized Training Provider program,'' said Jerry Baird, chairman and CEO of ProsoftTraining.com. ``As evidenced by their leadership in Microsoft and Novell certification programs, when New Horizons adopts a certification program they become a market leader while at the same time growing the overall market for that certification.''

The CIW program offers Internet training focused on the critical job skills necessary for today's advanced technology and Internet demands. CIW targets both existing Internet professionals and those wanting to enter the technical industry. The certification program addresses a spectrum of skills including basic Internet skills, Internetworking, Web site design, Internet scripting, Internet application development, Java, Internet server administration, security and e-commerce. CIW programs are offered through traditional instructor-led training, computer-based and Web-based training. Multiple training options make training and certification convenient for all types of learners wanting CIW certification.
