Burns and Roe Opens New Office in Mount Laurel, New Jersey

Oradell, NJ - In order to meet the continued demands of the rapidly growing power generation market and to position the company for growth within the pharmaceutical industry, Burns and Roe Enterprises, Inc. announced today that the firm recently expanded their New Jersey-based operations. As part of the initial expansion, Burns and Roe added 15,000 square feet of office space at 2000 Crawford Place, Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

The opening of this office is the most recent step in an initiative to increase the firm's power and process engineering staff. The staff in the Mount Laurel area has increased nearly fourfold since the beginning of the year and will continue to increase over the next six months. Approximately 75 employees are being hired or transferred to the Mount Laurel office as part of this initial expansion.

The office is approximately 100 miles from the firm's Oradell, New Jersey Headquarters and is equipped with an integrated network and state of the art video conferencing system for both internal and external communication. The new high-tech engineering and design center includes 75 computer workstations and 15 Intergraph PDS workstations. Several combined cycle power engineering projects will be executed from this office along with the current backlog of process engineering, procurement and construction projects already being managed from this location.
