Start-Up Technology Companies Now Have On-demand, Person-to-Person HR Resource
SALEM, N.H.; August XX, 2000-Benchmark HR Solutions, Inc. today announced the launch of its HR RetainedTM services group and hotline. The company's HR Retained team and service offerings were developed to provide start-up technology companies that do not have a formalized human resources infrastructure with an on-demand, person-to-person resource for compliance and legislation issues, employee relations and communications counsel and, among other areas, benefits and compensation questions.
"Developing the next 'Leap Frog' technology doesn't give our clients time to ponder whether or not their HR practices meet the letter of law or if their culture embodies the spirit of the company," said Bill Bench, president and founder, Benchmark HR. "It's these companies-that have an office manager or even the founder as the ad hoc HR person-that will benefit most from the authority, convenience and speed of an HR Retained offering."
The HR Retained package provides clients with three integrated service deliverables.
· Human Resources Wellness Audit: To determine the efficacy of a new client's existing HR practices and policies, a Benchmark consultant conducts a thorough assessment of employee files, policy compliance, benefits, job descriptions, compensation, performance management, interview and orientation processes, and corporate culture. Upon completion, each client receives a detailed "as-is" analysis of their HR infrastructure, and recommendations for improvement that are backed by current market and industry data.
· On-call Resource: At quarterly intervals, clients are allotted 30 hours to confer with Benchmark's HR Retained consultants via a toll-free hotline and e-mail account. If not handled immediately, all client inquiries are addressed within three business hours.
· Quarterly Newsletter: As an added resource, four times per year (January, April, July and October), clients receive a newsletter that provides both lay and experienced HR practitioners with insight and commentary on legal and compliance trends, benefits and compensation issues, and employee relations matters.
