San Francisco, CA, August 2, 2000 ChoiceRadio.com announces key appointments to its Advisory Board and Board of Directors effective immediately.

ChoiceRadio.com's Advisory Board and Board Of Directors is a hand selected group of individuals that are experts in their related fields. "The newly appointed board is comprised of experts in Technology, Internet Music, Radio & Records and Financial Industries," states Choice Radio's President/CEO, Val Starr. "Each professional adds the type of experience and business acumen that will assist ChoiceRadio.com in its mission to profitably converge these industries and provide the most cutting edge, state of the art, internet broadcasting site."

Joining Choice Radio's Board of Directors is Ronald H. Gertz, Esq., President and Founder of Music Reports Inc. (MRI), which represents broadcasters and other corporate users of music in the administration of music performing rights license payments to the organizations that issue licenses and collect royalties (ASCAP,BMI and SESAC). Mr. Gertz is a copyright attorney who has served as an expert witness for the broadcast industry in copyright royalty proceedings in the U.S and Canada and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Intellectual Property Section of the Los Angeles Country Bar Association.

Key Advisory Board appointments include Gary Culpepper, Esq., Executive Vice President of Business Affairs of Emusic.com; Dick Krizman of Quad Teck Digital; Marthe Reynolds, Vice President of Rhythm/Crossover Promotion at Island Def Jam Music Group; Mark Protus, Founder and President of ProtuSoft; Rukmani Ramdharry, Practice Director of eStrategy & Management Consulting at CIBER, Inc; and Michael Johnson of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

Gary Culpepper was one of the original co-founders of Emusic.com and has served as its Executive Vice President of Business Affairs since the company's inception. Culpepper is a seasoned recording industry veteran having served as Manager, A&R Administration for A&M Records; Assistant General Counsel for ABC Records; Senior Counsel for Casablanca Records; Director of Business Affairs for Capitol Records; Vice President of Business Affairs/Music for Paramount Pictures and Senior Counsel for Sony Pictures/Columbia/TriStar Home Video.

Dick Krizman has 37 years in the industry starting in independent distribution, to General Manager, west coast Atlantic Records, to National Marketing Director for United Artist Records. He joined Radio & Records Newspaper at its inception in 1973. As Executive Vice President/General Manager he helped take R&R to the number one publication status in the radio industry, a position it still retains. Krizman is currently working in the audio mastering field with Quad Teck Digital, a leading pioneer in audio enhancement in Los Angeles.

Marthe Reynolds is a 15-year record promotion veteran and is currently the Vice President of Rhythm/Crossover Promotion at Island Def Jam Music Group. Reynold's previous label appointments were General Manager at PWL America and Director of Crossover Promotions at Vendetta Records. Reynolds has been instrumental in the breaking of such superstar artists as Dru Hill, Sisqo and Montel Jordan.

Mark Protus is the Founder and President of ProtuSoft, an independent owned company providing a variety of creative solutions, services and goods. He spent eight years at Microsoft Corporation as a designer and developer of interactive educational solutions. Protus is a creative visionary who combines ideas and solutions to real-world problems. He has a Masters Degree in Educational Technology.

Rukmani Ramdharry is Practice Director of eStrategy & Management Consulting at CIBER, Inc., in San Francisco, CA. Ramdharry is responsible for developing the overall strategy for the eBusiness solutions and Middleware practices that strengthen the competitiveness of both established brick-and-mortar companies and emerging companies through Internet-centric technology, marketing, and partnerships. Prior to this, Ramdharry's career began at Andersen Consulting, which then led her to Venture Capital and later as a Biotechnology Analyst in Investment Banking. She has an MBA from the Haas School of Business, at the University of California, Berkeley, certified in the Management of Technology, and a BS in Neural Sciences from Brown University.

Michael Johnson has been in the Financial Services business for over 11 years. Johnson is currently employed at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter specializing in Private Wealth Management. In this capacity his efforts are focused on researching and monitoring companies that are preparing for initial public offerings. He frequently guides senior management teams through corporate finance, venture capital, asset management and other proprietary products of the firm. Prior to this, Johnson spent over 5 years at Chase Manhattan Bank in various finance positions. He has an MBA from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
