ROUTEMASTER.COM RELEASES T2M2 - TOTAL TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT MARKETPLACE

Solution includes Sourcing (Buying and Selling of Transportation Services), Execution, On-Line Payment, On-Line Analysis and Reporting and The Hub" Transportation Community.

Routemaster.com of Great River, NY has announced the launch of its web based transportation solution to select clients. The product, known as T2M2, offers an internet based neutral marketplace for sourcing transportation shipments and services, execution capabilities such as tendering, rating, and track and trace, on-line ACH banking, and online analysis and reporting. The site also contains The Hub" an e-magazine of relevant transportation topics which are updated daily.

According to CEO Ken Miller, Routemaster.com is the first neutral marketplace designed to give the user a complete transportation solution. Our research indicated that the current offerings of exchanges, auctions and bulletin boards did not address the total life cycle of transportation from sourcing through execution, payment and analysis and left the user with multiple non-collaborating systems. We have built a web based, user-friendly, XML solution that treats all potential trading partners equally. With over 100 years of transportation experience in our management team we recognized that the relationships that have taken years to develop between carriers, shippers and third parties should be enhanced rather than destroyed as exchanges and auctions attempt to do."

Routemaster.com first offered a free electronic bill of lading product in July 1999 that has grown to over 600 regular users. The new product, T2M2 will continue to offer this service as part of the product.
