WebCharts v2.5 is introduced at Microsoft PDC 2000

Orlando, July 18, 2000 -- GreenPoint, Inc. introduced WebCharts v2.5, an updated version of its premier data visualization tool for publishing interactive reports and applications on the Web at the Microsoft Professional Developers Conference in Orlando earlier last week.

WebCharts software is fully integrated with Visual InterDev and FrontPage 2000. It provides a developer with ability to design and deploy cross-platform, cross-browser graphical pages. The WYSIWYG ("what you see is what you get") approach reduces the learning curve and enables a person without any special training to create comprehensive web pages within a short period of time.

Available in professional and enterprise editions, WebCharts v2.5 uses XML as its native data format, and can render data from databases, files, URLs, and database results tables as applets or interactive server-generated images.

WebCharts Design-Time Control supports Visual InterDev's Scripting Object Models for Dynamic HTML and ASP, that allows a professional developer to connect WebCharts to other page objects, such as ADO Recordsets (OLEDB providers) and navigation bars, to create client and server-side events handlers, and to select between using an applet or a server-generated image.

A free evaluation copy of the product is available at company's home page: http://www.charts4web.com.

GreenPoint, Inc. is a leader in creating enterprise-wide visualization solutions for distributed Web applications. Cutting-edge technology like Java, XML, Active Server Pages and Design-Time Controls make GreenPoint's products simple to use, yet powerful enough to meet the needs of the most demanding projects.
