Appointment is the latest in a series of announcements to support UK launch

Kirkland, WA, August 15, 2000 -- edge2net Inc. today announced the appointment of Ranjeet S. Wilkhu as Managing Director, Europe. Mr. Wilkhus role will focus on building edge2nets UK operations to provide its existing customer base with greater access to European, Asian and North American markets and to develop new relationships with the major carriers in Europe.

Prior to joining edge2net, Mr. Wilkhu held a variety of business development and relationship management positions with several leading International carriers. While working for GTS UK Ltd, he successfully developed and implemented the companys supplier strategy for the termination of retail and wholesale traffic with over 60 telecom operators. Prior to this he was responsible for developing AT&Ts UK hubbing business.
