Out2.com and Wasatch Interactive Learning Announce Partnership
West Palm Beach, FL - Out2.Com, an Internet publisher of 12,000 local community newspapers throughtout the United States and Wasatch Interactive Learning, a provider of interactive comprehensive core-curriculum educational materials for the K-8 school and adult markets Wednesday announced linking partnership agreement. This unique collaboration offers teachers nationwide an opportunity to access quality reading, language, and writing curriculum programs found within the Wasatch learning environment and have a location to display student produced writings in a local Internet newspaper format. Students working within these curriculum activities functioning as cyber-journalists also have access to the Out2.Com editions on their own, for after school activities.
Users of Wasatch and Out2.com can now re-purpose its existing lesson plan assets into dynamic and compelling interactive learning environments that allow learners and instructors to manipulate and customize content while adding significant value to it. All at the same time correlating to state and local standards in language development, reading, and writing.
"The combination of Wasatchs rich library of course content with the Out2.com system is the only Web activity I've seen that has the potential to improve the way students learn, and at the same time allow anyone interested in individual student produced material to see that material. Aunt Edna in Iowa can see little Johnny or Janes essay on their visit to the Iowa farm last summer", said Bob Leonard, President and founder of Out2.com.
