Sierra Madre, CA and Lake Forest, CA, August 16, 2000 -- Pacific Microinstruments and TikiSoft, Inc. announced today the creation of a strategic alliance capable of delivering combined hardware and software solutions for the Palm Computing platform. The two companies in tandem will now provide complete development solutions for PDA devices with hardware expansion slots, including the Handspring(tm) Visor(tm) handheld computer.
Pacific Microinstruments, innovators of handheld expansion products and services, will serve as the hardware and manufacturing arm of the partnership, while TikiSoft, a leader in Palm OS solutions for enterprise and wireless technologies, will take the lead in software design.
